    Description

    A FR. 1281 First Issue - Twenty-Five Cents (25c) Postage Currency fractional.   First Issue notes were released between August 21, 1862 and May 29, 1863.  This is the straight edge variety with the American Bank Note Company logo (ABCO) on the reverse.
    This is a circulated Fine note with a reverse corner foreign substance.  There are no pinholes or tears.
